I've seen firsthand how the physical and mental health demands of work - whether you're stuck at a desk, on your feet all day, or doing repetitive manual tasks can take a serious toll on your body. Chronic pain, stiffness, and exhaustion don’t have to be your norm!
Alongside working as a women’s strength coach, I spent over 30 years in the corporate world, specialising in Quality, Health, Safety, and Training. I’ve seen (and experienced) firsthand how demanding jobs can take a serious toll on physical and mental health. Chronic pain, stiffness, and exhaustion don’t have to be your norm - but random exercise isn’t the answer. You need a more tailored approach.
I’ve worked extensively in OH&S, developing policies, procedures, training programs, inductions, and return-to-work plans for injured workers. My qualifications include:

My approach doesn’t replace clinical care or treatment, but focuses on improving strength, movement patterns, and daily habits that support a healthier, more resilient workforce.

💡 Let’s move beyond outdated “Manual Handling” training. The old rhetoric around “how to lift an object” isn’t enough. Often, the OHS team has already done everything possible within the hierarchy of controls, eliminating hazards, redesigning tasks, and introducing administrative controls - but sometimes, the task can’t be removed altogether.
That’s where we can focus on building a more resilient worker. I create targeted strength and fitness programming that supports the real physical demands of the job - whether that’s manual labour, caregiving, or any role with ongoing physical load. The goal is to build strong, capable bodies that can handle those demands more safely and recover more effectively when needed.
Supporting yourself, or your team, doesn’t require a complete overhaul. It’s about working smarter and making things sustainable. Early intervention doesn’t just save money - it can prevent a niggle from becoming a reportable incident before it’s formally addressed.
