Before you begin the onboarding process, please take a moment to review the questions at the bottom of page which are part of the standard Adult Pre-Exercise Screening Tool that all PTs should use (but many don't). While gyms will accept anyone who signs up by having them sign a waiver, this does not address individual health or exercise requirements. At Strong Beyond 50, I take a professional, safety-first approach.

​Starting your journey with Strong Beyond 50 is simple. Here's how it works:

​

1. Create Your Account in PTmate


Click on the Strong Beyond 50 Custom App button above to create your account login. Alternatively, download the PTmate member app or login via the Member portal, search for our training space 'Strong Beyond 50' and enter PIN 505050.

2. Complete the Onboarding Questionnaire

 

Once your login is created, you will be directed to our comprehensive onboarding questionnaire and T&C. This takes around five minutes and helps me understand your goals, experience, lifestyle, and any health considerations. The more information you provide, the more personalised your experience can be.

​

Whether you’re in Small Group Training, 1‑on‑1 sessions, programs, or coaching, this step helps me address your needs effectively.

​

Important: Completing this questionnaire is a key step, but it does not obligate you to join or pay for any programs. If you decide Strong Beyond 50 isn’t right for you, your account will be deleted within seven days. Accounts are only kept for clients who are actively participating in our programs.

​

​​3. Review and Contact

 

After submitting your questionnaire, I will personally review your responses. â€‹â€‹I am a one-person business so it's not always possible to respond immediately, or outside business hours (Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm). 

​

  • If your questionnaire raises no concerns, I will send you a Welcome email including information about our private studio, your chosen program and payment options. ​If you are taking up any special offers or promotions, these will be added to your account so you can book any associated sessions or classes. 

​

  • Please do not purchase any products, memberships, or packages until you receive your welcome email. 

​

  • If your questionnaire raises any concerns, I will email you with suggested next steps. Please note that Small Group Personal Training may not be suitable for everyone. 

​

4. Payment Options and Bookings

​​

If you decide to continue your journey with Strong Beyond 50, payment is required.

 

  • Purchasing a membership or product through the App will add your access to book classes or sessions.

​

  • Please set up weekly membership payment on a weekend to sync and enable access to each following week's training - Monday through Friday. This is also the most effective way to be able to Pause memberships for holidays or closures.

Pay for weekly or 10-Class Passes via Direct Debit from your Bank Account - you can purchase via the link provided in the relevant product or I can send you a specific link.

Available for 10-Class Passes only.

If you answer “Yes” to any of the questions below, or if you have osteoporosis, are currently undergoing cancer treatment, or have an acute musculoskeletal condition, Group Training is not suitable, as these needs fall outside the scope of a Personal Trainer and/or group training. In these cases, you will need to consult an *Exercise Physiologist  instead. 

​

  1. Has your medical practitioner ever told you that you have a heart condition or have you ever suffered a stroke? 

  2. Do you ever experience unexplained pains or discomfort in your chest at rest or during physical activity / exercise? 

  3. Do you ever feel faint, dizzy or lose balance during physical activity / exercise? 

  4. Have you had an asthma attack requiring immediate medical attention at any time over the last 12 months?

  5. If you have diabetes (type 1 or 2) have you had trouble controlling your blood sugar (glucose) in the last 3 months? 

  6. Do you have any other conditions that may require special consideration for you to exercise?
