Hi, I’m Coach Wendy Maree

Drawing on 15 years of coaching experience, I empower women to build physical resilience, find their confidence, and take charge of their long-term wellbeing.
While I coach women at all stages of life, I specialise in supporting active women through perimenopause and beyond who want to be Strong Beyond 50™. I provide sustainable, science-backed lifestyle solutions for those ready to train for performance - without the extremes.

Who I Coach
Every woman’s health and fitness journey is unique. Imagine it as a spectrum:
➡️ At one end: Bikini competitors and bodybuilders chasing stage-ready physiques. They track every calorie, sacrifice social moments, and invest heavily in specialised coaching. Or powerlifters aiming for max lifts and serious strength milestones.
➡️ At the other end: Those still chasing “skinny” at the expense of their health; focused on calorie-burning fads, quick fixes, or restrictive dieting rather than building long-term capability.
I don't coach at the extremes. I coach for life. This is for you if:
☑️ You are a woman aged 35-65 who is ready for progressive training to improve your body composition, build strength, and develop long-term physical resilience.
☑️ You have a baseline level of physical capability. You’re already active and understand that strength training is a long-term commitment. You want to stay adventurous and capable - whether that’s hiking, travelling, or gardening - for decades to come.
☑️ You’re feeling the "menopause noise." You’ve heard the endless advice from influencers telling you that you need to lift heavy or change everything about your fitness - but you aren't sure what’s actually true, what’s a fad, or how to even start without getting injured. You want the right advice, tailored to your body, so you can stop guessing and start progressing.
☑️ You are ready to train. My coaching is for the capable, active woman. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or a mover ready to learn the foundations of lifting, this is a space for performance and body recomposition. To ensure we can get straight to work, I focus on clients who have a solid baseline of mobility and are past the rehabilitation stage. My programs are for those ready to train for strength, rather than those seeking clinical weight loss, sedentary-start programs, or injury rehabilitation.
Note: If you’re managing complex health conditions, acute injuries, or mental health challenges, your first step should be clinical support from a physiotherapist or exercise physiologist. Coaching works best when you’re ready to fully engage.

Many online coaching programs deliver the exact same workouts to every client, automatically increasing weight or intensity based on a set percentage of the starting load, whether the client is ready or not. These cookie‑cutter approaches are designed to be as automated and generic as possible, so the same program can be sold repeatedly with minimal effort. In real life, this often leads to frustration, excessive fatigue, giving up, or even injury.
The Strong Beyond 50™ Formula is different. We focus on what's right for you, your body, your life, your goals - to ensure you progress without the burnout, excessive soreness, or fitness industry noise. You’re challenged at your own pace, with progress based on how your body is actually responding rather than a predetermined formula.

Exercise You Actually Want to Do
You don’t need to punish your body or force yourself into workouts or exercises you dread. Exercise should be enjoyable, not leave you collapsed on the floor or so sore you can hardly move.
Whether you train 2, 3, or 5 times per week, you’ll get a combination of exercises to improve strength, fitness, coordination, balance, core strength, lean muscle, bone health, and whole-body stability. Workouts are designed to challenge you at your level, and manage recovery, so you keep progressing and feel more energetic as you advance.
